Terms of service

The terms that govern the public site and gated assets.

These terms govern your use of grunion.ai, the contact forms on the site, the venture-brief request flow, and any public-facing asset we send from them.

By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the site.

1. Who this is between

These terms are between you and Grunion. In these terms, “we” means Grunion. “You” means the person using the site.

2. What you can use the site for

You may:

  • Read the public pages.
  • Send a contact request or venture-brief request.
  • Review any brief or asset we explicitly send you for internal evaluation.

You may not:

  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download the site without written permission.
  • Copy or resell the site’s design, content, or code.
  • Use the site or its content to train a model without written permission.
  • Misrepresent yourself in a form submission.
  • Submit anything illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful.
  • Probe, scan, or attack the site or try to reach non-public areas.

3. Venture briefs and gated assets

Some pages point to a longer venture brief. When we send one, it is for your own evaluation use inside your company. You can share it internally. You cannot post it publicly, republish it, or circulate it outside your company without written permission.

Some briefs include architecture notes, metrics, or operating detail that are not on the public site. Treat that material as confidential.

If a brief carries a more specific confidentiality notice, that notice controls.

4. Your content

If you send us anything through a form, email, or another channel on this site, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to send it.
  • It does not violate anyone else’s rights.
  • We can use it to answer your request and keep an internal record of the conversation.

You keep ownership of your content. You give us the limited permission we need to act on the request.

5. Our content

The site, including its text, images, layout, code, and brand elements, belongs to Grunion or its licensors and is protected by law. You do not get a license to that material beyond the right to view the site and review any asset we explicitly send you under these terms.

We link to third-party pages and may use outside providers for scheduling, form delivery, or email delivery. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

7. Disclaimers

The site is provided as is and as available. We do not promise uninterrupted service, perfect accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties.

Nothing on this site is legal, financial, investment, or other professional advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages tied to your use of the site.
  • Our total liability for any claim tied to the site is limited to USD 100 or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months for the thing the claim is about, whichever is greater.

These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and defend Grunion against a third-party claim that comes from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or content you submitted that violated someone else’s rights.

10. Suspension or termination

We can suspend or end your access to the site if you breach these terms or if we need to do so for legal, security, or operational reasons. The sections that should survive that change will survive it.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and publish the new version here. If you keep using the site after that change, you accept the new terms.

12. General

  • If one part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about the public site.
  • We do not waive a right by not enforcing it once.
  • You cannot assign these terms. We can assign them as part of a corporate transaction.
